The New Clarence is situated in the Old Town section of Hull city centre. It is a small pub which serves meals as well as alcohol.
The New Clarence is quite a small pub, but has a small section separated off for if you want to eat away from people drinking. It has a large pool table, and has a few large screen televisions, so is quite popular for sports events.
The food at New Clarence is very reasonably priced, and is really tasty and large portions are served. They also let children in duruing daytime hours, and have a children's menu available too. -

Well priced and decent sized portions, with lovely menu to choose from but would advise to get there early as it is small and gets crowded fast! Would recommend to anyone for a lunch time treat!

If you want a lovely Sunday dinner without the washing up go to the Clarence. There's 2 option (large or small). I've tried both (for research reasons only lol) and honestly, the small is enough and doesn't leave you hungry and screaming for a pudding. Only thing I will say is that you need to get in early to get a table as it fills up fast especially when the footie is on!
